A lost stamp

Somewhere in my stamp collection is an Arts and Crafts tradition-style guinea pig.

I had it made at Frost Manufacturing and they did a great job with my drawing. Only got to use it on one card though. The "Happy Birthday" is from Stampin' Up!

Capturing the "Mona Lisa smile" of the cavy

With a simple #2 pencil and a scrap of sketch paper this morning. To nail it and gaze upon it all day was the greatest pleasure. The lip is shaped like a Cheerio, but oh, to draw it without your guinea pig looking like a Monchichi!
